Besan ka Ladoo is a traditional Indian sweet made from gram flour, ghee, and sugar. It's a delightful treat enjoyed throughout the year, known for its rich flavor and melt-in-the-mouth texture.
In a non-stick pan, heat 2 tbsp of ghee on medium heat. Add 1/4 cup of besan and roast it, stirring continuously to avoid burning. Roast until it turns golden brown and emits a nutty aroma (about 7-10 minutes).
Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
Once the roasted besan is warm (not hot), add 2 tbsp of powdered sugar and a pinch of cardamom powder. Mix well until combined.
Take a small portion of the mixture in your hand and shape it into a round ball. If desired, press a few chopped nuts into the ladoo for added texture and flavor.
Enjoy your delicious besan ka ladoo!
