Ingredients
  • 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, grated cheese, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken strip into the beaten egg, then coat it evenly with the breadcrumb and cheese mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Place the coated chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Make sure to space them apart so they can crisp up evenly.
  5. Lightly spray or brush the tops of the chicken tenders with cooking spray or olive oil. This will help them brown and crisp up in the oven.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
  7. Once done, remove from the oven and let the chicken tenders cool for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve your crispy baked chicken tenders with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, barbecue sauce, or honey mustard.
Note
  • Feel free to adjust the seasonings and cheese according to your preference.
