Ingredients
  • 250 grams paneer
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves, chopped for garnishing
Instructions
  1. Crumble the paneer using your hands or a grater and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds to it. Once the seeds start to splutter, add finely chopped onions and green chili to it.
  3. Saute the onions till they turn translucent and then add ginger-garlic paste to it. Cook for a minute or till the raw smell goes away.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook till they turn soft and mushy.
  5. Now, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala powder to the pan and mix well.
  6. Add the crumbled paneer to the pan and mix everything together. Cook for 3-4 minutes on low flame.
  7. Add salt to taste and mix well.
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Serve hot with roti, naan, or paratha.
