Ingredients
  • 6 Chicken Wings
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 Kashmiri red chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1/2 Salt
  • 1 Honey
  • 1 Fresh coriander leaves
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, mix red chili powder, Kashmiri chili paste, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin powder, vinegar, olive oil, salt, and honey (if using). Adjust the consistency with a bit of water if needed.
  2. Wash and pat dry the chicken wings.
  3. Rub the marinade generously over the wings, ensuring each piece is coated well.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight for deeper flavor).
  5. Preheat the grill or oven to 200°C.
  6. Place the marinated wings on a grill rack or baking tray lined with foil.
  7. Grill for 10 minutes on each side, basting with leftover marinade.
  8. Ensure the wings are cooked through, with a slight char for extra flavor. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature (should reach 75°C).
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  10. Serve hot with a side of Peri Peri dipping sauce or mint yogurt dip.
Note
  • You can adjust the spice level by reducing the chili powder or adding more honey.
  • If you don’t have a grill, you can pan-fry the wings or bake them in the oven.
  • For a smokier flavor, add a touch of smoked paprika or grill over charcoal.
