    For Cheese Pocket Lollipop:
  • 1 bread slice
  • Cheese slices
  • Potato Paneer batter (recipe below)
  • Ice cream scoop (small size)
  • All-purpose flour (for brushing and batter)
  • Bread crumbs (for coating)
  • Oil (for frying)
  • For Potato Paneer Batter:
  • 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup crumbled paneer (Indian cottage cheese)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
Instructions
    For Potato Paneer Batter:
  1. In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, crumbled paneer, cumin powder, garam masala, salt, and chopped coriander leaves. Combine well to form a smooth batter.
  2. Take small portions of the batter and shape them into small round balls. Set aside.
  3. For Cheese Pocket Lollipop:
  4. Cut three sides of the bread slice, leaving one side uncut. Roll out the bread with a rolling pin to flatten.
  5. Place cheese slices in the center of the rolled-out bread. Put the potato paneer ball on top of the cheese and add a small scoop of ice cream at the bottom.
  6. Brush all-purpose flour on the corners of the bread. Fold the sides and seal the edges to form a pocket. Pack it securely.
  7. In a bowl, prepare a batter using all-purpose flour and water. In another bowl, place bread crumbs.
  8. Dip each cheese pocket in the flour batter, ensuring it's well-coated. Roll it in bread crumbs, making sure the entire pocket is covered.
  9. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the coated cheese pockets until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Note
  1. Ensure the cheese pockets are well-sealed to prevent leakage during frying. Adjust the spice level in the potato paneer batter according to your preference.
  2. Use fresh bread for better texture. Be cautious while handling hot oil during frying.
