  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the diced onions and minced garlic to the pan and sauté until the onions become translucent and fragrant.
  3. If using protein, add it to the pan and cook until it is cooked through and slightly browned.
  4. Add the diced carrots, bell peppers, and peas to the pan. Stir-fry for a few minutes until the vegetables are tender but still slightly crisp.
  5. Add the cooked rice to the pan and break up any clumps with a spatula.
  6. Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice and vegetables. Toss everything together until well combined.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the amount of soy sauce and sesame oil as desired.
  8. Continue cooking for another few minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is heated through.
  9. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro if desired.
