5 Chicken wings
2tablespoons Soy sauce
1tablespoon Honey
1clove Garlic (minced)
1/2teaspoon Ginger (grated)
1teaspoon Sesame oil (optional)
1/4teaspoon Black pepper
1/4teaspoon Red chili flakes (optional)
1teaspoon Sesame seeds (for garnish)
1tablespoon Spring onions (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil (if using), black pepper, and red chili flakes.
Add the chicken wings to the marinade and coat them evenly. Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 15-20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper or foil. Arrange the marinated wings on the tray in a single layer. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until the wings are golden and cooked through.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped spring onions on top before serving.
Note
For better flavor, marinate for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator.
Adjust the honey and soy sauce ratio to suit your taste (less honey for less sweetness).
These wings can also be air-fried or grilled for a smokier flavor.
