  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 grated Romano cheese
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, grated Romano cheese, and lemon zest.
  2. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, pressing to adhere the coating.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the coated chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a plate.
  6. In the same skillet, add fresh lemon juice and stir to deglaze the pan.
  7. Pour the lemon sauce over the cooked chicken breasts.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
