Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup of water, 1 beaten egg, 1 cup of shredded cabbage, and any additional ingredients of your choice (such as sliced green onions, cooked shrimp, or diced pork belly).
  2. Heat a non-stick pan or skillet over medium heat and lightly oil the surface.
  3. Pour the okonomiyaki batter onto the pan, shaping it into a round pancake about 1/2 inch thick.
