  • 1 boiled potato, mashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Jeera powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kali mirch powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Haldi (Turmeric)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Amchur powder
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cup Maida (All-purpose flour)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • Water (for making maida paste)
  • Oil (for deep frying)
Instructions
  1. Smash the boiled potato and mix it with jeera powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, kali mirch powder, haldi, salt, and amchur powder.
  2. Take the potato mixture and spread it on one slice of bread. Place another slice on top to make a sandwich. Cut the bread into rectangular pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix maida, salt, red chilli powder, and water to make a smooth batter.
  4. Dip each potato-filled rectangular bread piece into the maida paste, ensuring it is fully coated.
  5. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. Carefully place the bread pieces into the hot oil and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oil, let excess oil drain, and serve the Rectangular Aloo Bread Toast Fry hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
