Vegetable Pakoras

Wash and finely chop or shred the vegetables.

In a large mixing bowl, combine gram flour, rice flour (optional), turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, carom seeds, and salt.

Add water gradually to form a thick batter. The batter should coat the vegetables but not be too runny.

Mix the vegetables into the batter, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Heat oil in a deep pan or wok over medium heat.

Drop spoonfuls of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil.

Fry in batches until golden brown and crisp.

Remove the pakoras using a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Note
- You can add other vegetables like bell peppers, cauliflower, or zucchini.
- Use an air fryer or bake the pakoras for a low-oil version.
- Serve hot with green chutney, tamarind chutney, or ketchup.
