  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, chopped onion, tomato, green chili, red chili powder, cumin powder, chaat masala powder, and salt. Mix well to make the filling.
  2. Take two slices of bread and spread the filling evenly on one of the slices. Cover it with the other slice to make a sandwich.
  3. Heat a sandwich maker or tawa over medium heat. Spread some butter or oil on the surface.
  4. Place the sandwich on the hot tawa and cook till it turns golden brown on one side.
  5. Flip the sandwich and cook on the other side till it turns golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the sandwich from the tawa and cut it into halves or quarters.
  7. Serve the hot Masala Sandwich with ketchup or chutney of your choice.

  • You can add more veggies like capsicum, carrot, cucumber, or beetroot to the filling as per your preference.
  • You can also add some grated cheese to the filling for added flavor and texture.
