Take small portions of the batter and shape them into small round balls. Set aside.
For Cheese Pocket Lollipop:
-
Cut three sides of the bread slice, leaving one side uncut. Roll out the bread with a rolling pin to flatten.
-
Place cheese slices in the center of the rolled-out bread. Put the potato paneer ball on top of the cheese and add a small scoop of ice cream at the bottom.
-
Brush all-purpose flour on the corners of the bread. Fold the sides and seal the edges to form a pocket. Pack it securely.
-
In a bowl, prepare a batter using all-purpose flour and water. In another bowl, place bread crumbs.
-
Dip each cheese pocket in the flour batter, ensuring it's well-coated. Roll it in bread crumbs, making sure the entire pocket is covered.
-
Heat oil in a pan. Fry the coated cheese pockets until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Note
- Ensure the cheese pockets are well-sealed to prevent leakage during frying. Adjust the spice level in the potato paneer batter according to your preference.
- Use fresh bread for better texture. Be cautious while handling hot oil during frying.
