Peel the banana and slice it into thin rounds. Set aside.

Lay out the bread slices on a clean surface. Spread an even layer of peanut butter on each slice.

Place the banana slices on one of the bread slices, covering the peanut butter evenly. If desired, drizzle a little honey over the banana for extra sweetness and sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon.

Place the other slice of bread, peanut butter side down, on top of the bananas.

If you prefer a warm, crispy texture, toast the sandwich in a sandwich maker or on a skillet over medium heat until each side is golden brown.
