  1. Beat the eggs with milk (or water), salt, and pepper in a small bowl until well combined. Prepare your choice of cheese and any other optional ingredients you wish to include.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter or oil, swirling to coat the pan.
